A Romantic Hideaway with Breathtaking Views Pros: We had the most amazing stay at Catterwood Cottage - Mountain View 9-Seater Hot Tub Optional! the picturesque location surrounded by natural beauty truly stole our hearts. the cottage itself was absolutely stunning, with cute and thoughtful touches everywhere. It was perfect for both a romantic getaway or a family vacation. the hosts were incredibly helpful and kept in touch with us to ensure the hot tub was ready for our arrival. the highlight for us was definitely the outdoor terrace with a cozy firepit and the luxurious hot tub with mesmerizing mountain views.
Can't fault the property in any way! 😊.

We had a wonderful time during our Christmas getaway. The lounge in the garden was a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain views on both sides. The large kitchen was perfect for preparing our holiday feast, and having a TV in each room was a bonus, especially for the teenagers. we had a lot of fun playing darts in the lounge area. The location was fantastic, with a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, and we loved being close to the charming village. The small shop with essentials and games was also a nice touch.
Although we had a generally positive experience, there were a few things that could be improved. the double beds were quite small and not the most comfortable.

The location of the cottage offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside, providing a romantic and picturesque setting. the hosts are attentive and helpful, ensuring that the hot tub is heated for a relaxing evening. the cottage is clean and well-presented, and the honesty shop provides entertaining and intriguing items.
The separate taps in the washroom sink with very hot water from one tap and very cold from the other proved to be a minor inconvenience.

The Catterwood Cottage - Mountain View 9-Seater Hot Tub Optional is simply amazing! The rooms are cozy and inviting, with not one, but two bathrooms. And guess what? Both bathrooms have a shower and a bath! I felt like a king soaking in the tub after a long day of hiking. It's just perfect for someone like me who loves to relax and unwind.
Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the hot tubs in the bathrooms. It's just a personal preference, but I would have preferred a regular bathtub.

Oh, how I enjoyed struggling with the lock on the front door! Such a unique experience, feeling a bit more on edge.

The property was incredibly clean, with beautiful presentation that left us in jaw-dropping awe. We absolutely loved the intriguing and funny items in the 'honesty shop'. The hosts were super nice and kept in touch with us to ensure the hot tub was heated upon our arrival. Speaking of the hot tub, it was mind-blowingly nice and hot! The evening at this place was truly fantastic. The lounge in the garden was a very pleasant and relaxing spot. The enormous hot tub, though we didn't use it, required 24 hours of advance heating, but we can imagine it would be worth the wait. The fact that each room had a flat-screen TV was a big hit with the teens. We also enjoyed playing darts in the lounge area. The location itself, near Drymen, was absolutely terrific with breathtaking mountain views on both sides and a peaceful, quiet environment since it's on private property. The kitchen and other rooms were super spacious, which was a nice bonus. Additionally, we really liked the small shop that had essentials and games. our stay was simply amazing and we would love to come back to this amazingly scenic and tastefully decorated village location in the future.
